Keith Claeys – Drumset/Percussion

Keith Claeys is the percussion instructor at Wayne State University.  He is a regular performer with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and has performed on 4 recordings with them.  He has performed with both the Michigan Opera Theatre and the Metropolitan Opera, and has accompanied the American Ballet Theatre, in addition to the Elliot, Geoffrey, Kirov, Boston, Atlanta, and Bolshoi Ballets. Keith has performed for more than two-dozen legendary conductors including John Williams, Arthur Fiedler, James Levine, and Bill Conte.  He is also the staff percussionist for the Fisher and Masonic Temple Theatres.  Keith is a Vic Firth artist.
