Gordon Finlay – Voice
Gordon Finlay is a Lyric tenor who studied extensively with noted soprano Eva Likova and has been a featured performer in roles with numerous opera companies. These include the Michigan Opera Theater, as well as the Indianapolis and Toledo Operas. He has sung leading tenor roles, performing as Alfredo in La Traviata, Tamino in the Magic Flute, Camille in The Merry Widow, Pinkerton in Madame Butterfly and the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto.
Gordon has appeared on radio & television, and has been presented in recital in Detroit’s Orchestra Hall. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Music, and provides private voice instruction at the prestigious Cranbrook Kingswood School, and at Wayne State University. Gordon is accomplished in teaching all styles of vocal music, and works well with students of all ages. He also instructs in 7 languages (English, German, Italian, French, Latin, Russian and Ukranian).
